Dolly..

We've chosen to include a doll in our trailer to symbolise much meaning towards the plot and enhance a greater understanding about the protagonist. We’ve chosen a doll for many reasons;

Dolls, simple child’s playthings have been around for centuries. Every culture seems to create these little imitations of humans and all seem to do so for the same purpose: to provide companionship, entertainment and comfort to many children. With such innocent and sweet beginnings, what could possibly bother, or, in some cases even terrify us about these loving childhood companions?..

For mysterious reasons, dolls are sometimes thought to attract spirits. More troubling, dolls seem to become easily linked with the spirit of the child to whom it most closely connected. There are many haunted theories related to dolls. The most famous haunted doll is “Robert”, the inseparable companion of the famous painter Robert Eugene. It is said that Robert used to converse with this doll in his childhood and the doll remained by his side throughout his life.
Any old doll having blackened eyes and paints peeling off can be labelled as a haunted doll. They are fit to be displayed in the horror movies and are very commonly associated with the paranormal happenings.
Child's Play is a horror film based on a doll named Chucky going on a killing rampage. Chucky is easily one of the top 3 horror movie villains of the 1980s because of its memorable baddie.
